Wednesday is not just another day.
So got up and the whole family was home for once so I made pancakes for everyone. Gluten free mix with organic blueberries, chopped pecans and cacao nibs. Butter and real maple syrup on top. Sue used the leftover batter in muffins cups to make small muffins which will make a great coffee-time. Except we don't have coffee-times.
That was a very civilized and nice routine that my mother's family had. You usually had visitors or visited someone else's house for coffee-time. Many times they had "stories" on in the background while people had coffee and a snack and talked to each other. People don't do that so much now. Too bad. It's a different world.
Will need to go to Costco pretty soon. Don't want to go there as the weekend nears. Christmas is this next Sunday.
Last night was another in a series. Nothing great and this morning came the same conflict about getting up and going. I made the necessary accommodations and did the needfuls. I can work on the new version of muscle detail today again after I get the other things done.
Still haven't come up with an idea for Christmas dinner yet. Maybe they'll have a special on rib roast. Perhaps something will suggest itself to me as it is the season for the jolly and such. Who can say?
Just got back from Costco with Ben. Got stuff for Christmas dinner, Prime Rib Roast and Langostino, plus all the stuff on the list, MINUS the Hot Chocolate mix. Just couldn't find it and it was way too busy to just wander around the place looking.
Many people were at Costco in preparation for the upcoming Feast of the Confused Electorate. For Christmas this year we are receiving a large basket which will be suitable for containing our country on it's journey to Hell. Just kidding. We will survive this too.
More later,
